Honoring Lives with Dignity & Rituals
Nuclear homes and careers that require a move to other places have impacted the lives of elderly people. Old age homes are mushrooming in cities. These senior citizens have to live out their life in loneliness and memories of the time when they were loved and cherished by their family. Many people donate food and clothes but their emotional needs remain unfulfilled. Realizing this, AINCE Founder Mrs. Varalakshmi planned to hold the first ever 60th birthday wedding for these senior citizens in old age homes and for the destitute elderly, including the first 60th wedding ceremony at Namakkal on 27th January 2023 in collaboration with AINCE and Rainbow Charitable Trust and the Chief Guest was Mr. K. Sundara Megam Swamy, Founder of Arulram Easwara Karupasamy Kolli Malai Sundaramegam Trust. It was performed grandly attended by around 200 people. The volunteers prepared a Kalyana Virundu for all the guests. In this SASHTIPOORTHI ceremony, the members of AINCE adopt these elders as their own parents and conduct the 60th wedding ceremony. The joy on the faces of the couples is so apparent and they will be able to cherish this memory for a very long time.
